Thank you for using your gift. I know it will be a blessing to those at our church. 8/30/08 Nancy Robertson, Hudson, WI Your book has been truly inspirational. Although not a survivor, my life has been touch by cancer through the recovery of my father from Colin cancer and the loss of my step mother from breast cancer. 11/1/07 Karen Tripp author of “God is Bigger Than Your Cancer”, Ballwin, MO Thank you so very much for the book as it has helped me beyond measure. 8/1/07 Jackie Webb, MN After we talked, I was having trouble sleeping, so started to re-read your book. I skipped around various parts, but I want you to know how comforting it was and how much it meant to me. It's amazing how you can read something and understand, but when it truly affects you, so read it in a different way. I truly felt wrapped in all the prayers that I know were surrounding me and I need to say that I borrowed your imagery of the shepherd and the little lamb and it was such a comfort. 1/19/07 Joan K., Vadnais Heights, MN (refering to night prior to heart surgery) Good for the Soul Soothing and comforting are the words that come to mind in describing this book. It was written in the context of the author's journey through breat cancer treatment, but it is a book for anyone going through a hard time. There is great information in the book, yet it doesn't feel at all like a textbook....A great gift book. You will enjoy this read! 7/14/06 Shawn B., Keystone, CO My friend that you mailed your book to told me that she finds your book a lifesaver. She reads it everyday and that it really helps her keep it all in perspective. So, thank you so much! I wanted to let you know that I have been praying for you and just know that God is going to use you in ways we can't even imagine! 4/18/07 Stacy S., St. Paul, MN What a timely and thoughtful gift it was, coming at the start of my chemotherapy treatments. It was informative, what with the many excellent Bible references; because of them, Lo's book was helpful and comforting as well. I felt fortunate to have it. Thank you. 1/13/07 Kay O., FL The book is an amazing blessing and lives WILL be altered by that book, it will yield hope for a stranger, and that is truly a message that lines up with the Cross. 7/17/06 Stacy G., Fort Worth, TX Thank you for the wonderful book. 12/11/06 Keith W., Vadnais Heights, MN Your spirituality during your illness is what enabled you to capture life’s soul, and to incorporate it into everyday life. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to understand your struggle and find comfort in the words of God. 7/19/06 Terrie S., Lino Lakes, MN I have been there, also, and what you say is so true. I am excited to share this book with others in need. 11/8/06 Darlene K., Shoreview, MN It's great. Very inspirational and just plain kind. 10/26/06 Annalise J., Red Wing, MN The author’s reference to others’ reactions to her bald head was reassuring to me. Portions of Psalm 139 have been a great comfort—the knowledge that the Lord is always with me and knows me so well. Blessings to the friend who gave me this book as it will keep on giving for years to come. 1/3/07 Ellen F., St. Paul, MN I found the book to be very helpful and encouraging in many ways. I truly appreciated your scripture references to back-up your statements. Your positive but honest approach is a great example to everyone. 7/19/06 John P., St. Paul, MN A Delight to Read! What an excellent resource! This book was written because the author herself, caregiver though she was,was put on the other side as a patient with breast camcer. It is not a journaling of her 'bad' experiences, but a refreshing and uplifting way to be healthy in spirit while your body is sick. It is the book the author wishes had been available to her. You'll find many stories of her thought processes, happenings and examples of ways to be positive as well as numerous resources along the way (i.e. Websites, other books, etc.)I'm not a cancer patient, but I found it an exceptionally good example of how to live a Christian life, no matter what problem you are faced with at the time. Whether you are a Christian or not doesn't matter as Lo is gentle with her readers and makes you feel like you are sitting down to coffee wtih her. It's a delight to read and I would highly recommend it to anyone, especailly those working on being a survivior of cancer. 7/24/06 Author Unknown The book is filled with hope and support and so many people could benefit from a book like this. 7/27/06 Diane M., Minneapolis, MN These pages of encouragement, support and inspiration will be of help to many people. The set up is easy to read and the many scripture references will meet the needs of those who hurt. 7/27/06 Delores N., Burnsville, MN ...your book is wonderful. Thank you so much for writing it. 8/11/06 Gene G., Shoreview, MN Your book is so very good and well written and so many great thoughts are shared. 8/14/06 Lea S., Blaine, MN What faith you must have to write such a wonderful book! 8/15/06 Bernice G., West St. Paul, MN It is a beautiful piece of written art - and I think its presentation is outstanding. 8/18/06 Jim O., Robbinsdale, MN I enjoyed reading your book. I loved the Scripture verses and how personal they were to you in your most difficult time. I really liked your honesty, too. It was very well written, very creative, and informative. 8/26/06 Paula A., Shoreview, MN You will want to pass on this book to those either living with or care giving for someone in a health crisis.
